Fides School of Theology and Evangelization in affiliation with Godfrey Okoye University held her 2^nd Matriculation Ceremony, Commissioning of New Evangelisers and Graduation on Saturday 5^th April 2025.

The occasion started with a Pontifical Holy Mass by His Lordship, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor assisted by the Director Of FSTE Rev. Fr. Dr. Celestine Muonwe, Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu Very. Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, and two other priests at the CWO Hall of St. Patricks Cathedral, Awka.

The candidates for commissioning were commissioned and blessed by His Lordship during the Holy Mass.

After the Holy Mass, all the candidates processed to the hall, where His Lordship said the opening prayer. The National and School Anthem was sang and Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu earthly represented by Very. Rev. Fr. Calistus Anieke declared the occasion open. Rev. Fr. Dr. Celestine Muonwe the Director of FSTE gave the opening remark, where he thanked everyone present including the Diocesan President of CMO and Diocesan President of CWO and others who have contributed immensely to the success of the School, he also talked about the importance of Evangelism and the virtues to practice. 

Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu Very. Rev. Fr. Prof. Christian Anieke, gave a speech where he highlighted the need to note that Fides School Of Theology is not just an affiliate of Godfrey Okoye University but a core part of the University and the certification would also bear Godfrey Okoye. He urged the matriculating students to be open minded, pay attention in class and contribute the best way they can. He also congratulated the Graduating students and encouraged them to practice all that the learnt during the course of their study.

Certificates were given to the Graduating students by His Lordship, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor. One of the Graduating students appreciated His Lordship for all his efforts. The closing prayer was said by His Lordship and the occasion was declared closed by Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University Enugu represented by Very. Rev. Fr. Prof. Calistus Anieke.
